COLUMBIA BASIN TRUST CONTRIBUTES TO VAN PURCHASE
The Revelstoke Ski Club extends its gratitude to the Columbia Basin Trust for their funding to assist in offsetting the cost of replacing our club van. The CBT has provided the club with $1500 through it's Sponsorship Program toward the van replacement. The continued support the Club has received from the CBT has been a great help in keeping costs down and program quality high.
Background: The Ski Club van was involved in a single vehicle accident in the Spring of 2011 along the Trans Canada Highway east of Golden. Although the van did not survive the accident, we are pleased the two coaches and five athletes traveling at the time walked away with only a few bruises and just as many stories. A replacement van was purchased in July.
