RSC INTRODUCES ALL MOUNTAIN PROGRAM

The Revelstoke Ski Club has had interest expressed for a program which continues to develop technical skiing, is less race focused, in a fun group environment with quality instruction.  As a result of this demand the the Revelstoke Ski Club introduces its ALL MOUNTAIN PROGRAM for 2011-12 for skiers aged 11 to 15 yrs old.  This program is designed to promote the love of skiing while gaining technical and all mountain skills via in-bound free skiing including POWDER, BUMPS, TREES, GROOMERS along with race training in SLALOM, GIANT SLALOM, and SKIER CROSS (to be confirmed). 

The ALL MOUNTAIN PROGRAM is designed to develop all mountain skills while strengthening technical ability through race (gate) training in a fun group environment.  Skiers will be provided the option to participate in Zone and Provincial race events or series. 

Here's the details:

Ages: 11 to 15 yrs

Number of sessions included: 12 (time split at approx. 50% between technical/race and free ski training)

Training days: Sundays

Start date: January (date to be confirmed)

Fees: $699 + 4 parent volunteer ‘days’ (volunteer deposit of $300 required)

Race events: $35/day + race expenses 

BC Alpine registration required (included in fee)
