WELCOME TO THE RSC NEW EXECUTIVE FOR THE 2010 SEASON

At the annual general meeting of the Revelstoke Ski Club on Tuesday Oct 5 many positions of the club's executive where filled with new faces.  After years of steering the club Mark Schwenck stepped down from the President's position as he has recently been appointed as the Okanagan zone rep to BC Alpine.  Richard Smith earned the honour of replacing Mark as club president.  New to the club's executive is Rob Sidjak as Vice-President, Sally Charmichael as S.A.M. (sponsorships, awards and media), Margaret Scharf as secretary and Prue Hicks as Kinder Coordinator.  Retaining their positions on the executive are Malene Behncke, Treasurer; Erich Unterberger, Alpine Chair; Lou Bernava, Equipment coordinator, Judith McCubbin, FIS coordinator; and Karyn Molder, Nancy Greene Coordinator.  The club extends their gratitude to Richard Behncke, Todd Hicks and Barb Wadey who have stepped down from their positons.  

The following individuals also accepted non-executive coordinator positions: Richard Behncke, Van maintenance; Claude Duchesne, volunteer coordinator, Laura Dyer, registrar; Annick Blouin, athlete accounts; Christiane Paquette, payroll; Todd Hicks, website.  To be filled: fundraising coordinator.  Please contact any club executive if you can help out in this area.
